Youth Programs
Children's Programs
We provide a variety of children’s programs focused on helping kids build confidence, develop horsemanship skills, and gain hands-on experience with farm life. While riding lessons are available year-round, our children’s programs are typically held seasonally and welcome a wide range of ages and experience levels.
Learn to Ride Programs
Usually held in the spring and summer months, our Learn to Ride programs provide a fun, hands-on introduction to riding, horse care, and farm life for new and returning riders. Programs are available for ages 5–8 and ages 8 and up, with activities tailored to each age group in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Learn to Ride
Pony Club
This introductory program is perfect for children ages 5–8 who are interested in learning about horses and farm life. Kids will spend afternoons at the barn with horses and friends while exploring riding and horse care through fun, hands-on activities. Participants will enjoy group lessons, grooming, tacking, feeding, groundwork, and more while getting a beginner-friendly introduction to all things horses.

Learn to Ride
8 and Up
For riders ages 8 and up, this hands-on program gives new and returning students the opportunity to build riding skills while learning more about horse care and daily barn life. Participants will spend the evening at the barn enjoying group lessons, grooming, tacking, feeding, groundwork, and other horse-related activities in a fun and supportive environment.

Youth Leasing
Has your kid been begging for a pony but you just don't have room in your yard? Do the next best thing: Lease him/her a pony!

With our youth leasing program, your child will have lots of access to several horses and ponies for weekly lessons to learn and tons of practice time in the saddle most days of the week.
​
$100 per month plus the cost of weekly lessons.​

No experience riding? The Sundance Staff is ready to help! Have a junior equestrian? We can accommodate their skill level!
Our family of well-trained and lovable horses and ponies are ready to make summer a memorable and fun learning experience!
